About Alpha Gamma Delta

Founded on May 30, 1904, at Syracuse University, Alpha Gamma Delta was created by 11 trailblazing women who believed in empowering others through scholarship, service, and genuine connection. Spoiler alert: they nailed it.

Today, AGD is an international women’s fraternity committed to living with purpose and building strong girls into even stronger women. This is the real-deal kind of sisterhood—authentic, lifelong, and occasionally matching outfits.

Symbols, Colors & Motto

• Colors: Red, Buff, and Green – Translation: bold, timeless, and surprisingly versatile on sweatshirts.

• Flower: Red Rose – Classic, courageous, and always blooming.
