About Alpha Sigma Alpha

Alpha Sigma Alpha was founded on November 15, 1901, at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia. Five founders came together to create a sisterhood built on purpose, friendship, and personal growth. Over a century later, ASA is still empowering women to lead, serve, and show up—both in the world and for each other.
